This page initially started
out to just be a recipe page for my Yoga cookies, I found myself
adding more recipes for things like smoothies especially as the days
get warmer. After a few months I added recipes for muffins,
scones and a few other treats. I decided to remove them when
people started becoming critical about how I could improve the recipes
and if I even I had tasted the recipes since the critics thought they
tasted "horrible". So here it is, just one recipe. Enjoy.
Rodney's Siddha Yoga Cookies
Please note that the

Recipe Summary

Yield: about 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups of quick-cooking
Oatmeal
2 1/2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup of dark Raisins
1 cup of golden Raisins
1 cup of ground Almonds (use a coffee grinder)
3/4 cup of Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 cups Clover Honey (use local honey)
3/4 cup of Vanilla Soy Milk
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
3/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Grease 1 or more cookie
sheets. In a large bowl, add the wet ingredients together mixing
thoroughly. Sift together Flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and
cinnamon; stir into wet mixture. Fold in the oatmeal and the
ground almonds, blending well. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie
sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
