This page initially started
out to just be a recipe page for my Yoga cookies, I found myself
adding more recipes for things like smoothies especially as the days
get warmer. Enjoy and remember, these recipes are ones that have
been road tested.
Rodney's Siddha Yoga Cookies
Please note that the
nutritional information has been accurately updated to reflect the
correct number of cookies per batch.
Recipe Summary

Yield: about 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups of quick-cooking
Oatmeal
2 1/2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup of dark Raisins
1 cup of golden Raisins
1 cup of ground Almonds (use a coffee grinder)
3/4 cup of Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 cups Clover Honey (use local honey)
3/4 cup of Vanilla Soy Milk
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
3/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Grease 1 or more cookie
sheets. In a large bowl, add the wet ingredients together mixing
thoroughly. Sift together Flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and
cinnamon; stir into wet mixture. Fold in the oatmeal and the
ground almonds, blending well. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie
sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

Directions for all smoothie recipes:
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Add ice cubes to your desired thickness.
Coffee Chocolate Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 scoop of Chocolate Whey
protein (or meal replacement) powder
1 teaspoon of Instant Coffee
1 tablespoon of Wheat Germ
1 cup of Soy Milk (vanilla or chocolate)
1/2 of a banana (medium size)
Mocha Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 scoop of Chocolate Whey
protein (or meal replacement) powder
1 teaspoon of Instant Coffee
1 tablespoon of Wheat Germ
1 cup of Chocolate Soy Milk
1/2 a honey graham crasher sheet
Cappuccino Cream Smoothie
